Highlights of 2013

So I saw a post like this and I kinda had to steal the idea and make a post myself, so it here it goes.... these are the highlights of my year.

• In marts I went to Belgium on a study trip with my school. It was fun and I loved seeing everything Belgium had to offer, and oh boy their chocolates Mmmm Mmmm
  The downside of the trip was that it was so freaking cold you would not believe it.

• In april the trip went to Paris. The city I've always dreamt of visiting. And as a bonus my cousin and I saw Onerepublic in concert. It was the best trip ever.

• Then in June I moved to a different city. Around 2 hours drive from the one I used to live in

     

• Then in October I started on a new "artsy" school
• And then in november the best thing happend... I became an aunt to a beautiful little girl

And that is it for this year :D

Next year I can promise will be just as exciting, but I can't really talk about that yet.

Oh but I will see Onerepublic again next year + Ellie Goulding :D

OPI - MARIAH CAREY CHRISTMAS COLLECTION

Okay so I am so behind on all this girly stuff (LOL), and just found out today that OPI is going to have (or does have?) a Mariah Carey christmas collection. Now in my mind nothing says christmas like Mariah Carey because of her wonderful songs, so this is just the icing on the cake.

The colors are gorgeous, and I really hope I will be able to buy them here in Denmark.

Oh Mariah, you surely know how to put me in a Christmas mood

Girl crush - Ellie Goulding

I have been so late on the band wagon with Ellie Goulding, but these past couple of weeks, she has been on my spotify and youtube non-stop.
I absolutely love her voice and that she has the look of a "normal" girl.
My favorite song of the moment is Anything could happen... It is so good

So here is a post dedicated only to her.

Wordless wednesday

Workout wednesday: Wild fire legs

Hey guys, and happy wednesday.

Today I am bringing back workout wednesday, and this time with a workout that is going to shape up our legs really good. I did this workout yesterday just to try it out before writing about it, and oh boy do I feel my legs today... When I woke up it felt like my butt and thighs were on fire. I did do some arm exercises as well yesterday, but dont really feel that today.

Lets go:

I recently discovered this youtube channel Xhit daily (that is where the videos are from) and do have to say I am enjoying them, and on top of that they keep me motivated.

I hope you guys enjoyed this little workout... I am going to rest my legs a little before another killer workout today

Small The Body SHop Haul

Hello Lovelies

I wanted to share my little Body Shop haul with you guys. I actually got these products very very VERY cheap. Im a member of the body shop club and I had a birthday present waiting for me (you get to choose whatever you want for a specific amount) and I had a gift certificate for 50 kroner so adding thoes two up made it really cheap for me... and I am all about saving haha

Anyways on to what I got:

Strawberry Shower gel

I have had this one before, but in a slightly smaller bottle, and I loved it. Normally I would think I could keep this stuff to myself but oh no my boyfriend used it up faster than I thought was possible. 

The smell is of course Strawberry, and I love how it makes your shower time smell incredible. I don't know how I feel about the packing yet, well I think it looks cute but I have heard from a couple of people that they don't like the bigger one (the one I got), because of the pump. I will let you guys know what I think about it.

Tea tree cool and creamy wash

I have never tried this product before, but I have heard and read so many great things about it, that I decided to give it a try. I don't really know what to expect yet, because me skin is a bit sensitive.

The tea tree cool and creamy wash is the mildest one The body shop have in their tea tree range, and I was told it is going to help getting rid of acne.

I am going to do a review on this product when I have used it for some time

Tea tree oil sample

The lady at my local body shop gave me a little sample of tea tree oil. I am supposed to dap it on where I have a zit, and it will dry it out. Now I am going to test day today. The reason why she kindly gave me a sample was because I am not really 100% sure that my skin can handle tea tree oil. So that was very nice of her.

That was my little haul for you guys. I really do love shopping at the body shop and I have been for many years, cause they girls who work there are always ready to help you out and the best of it all the products smells great

Animal crossing - new leaf

This game is so addictive it's not even funny. I have been playing this game non stop since I got it last month.

I love how you can get cute clothes for your character, how you can water plants and finding fossils... I know it sounds boring, but I promise you it's not. 

Nivea body lotion - Express Hydration

I love this lotion, and it has been one of those things I have used a lot this month. I have very dry skin, but somehow I hate putting lotion on, because I hate the waiting time for it to dry. This lotion took me by surprised 'cause it actually dries super fast. It has a fresh scent to it, that makes you feel clean. It might not be the best lotion out there, but it's not bad

My wet n' wild palettes 

I LOVE wet n'wild, and I do believe we should have more of it in Denmark. It is so unfair that we don't have the Fergie collection here :/ Anyways the 2 palettes you see on the picture has been my favorite go to palettes for a very long time... 

The trio is so old that I can't even see the name on it :O But I freaking love that one, and I just hit pan on the top shadow.

The other one is called Vanity, and it is so easy to work with. As you guys can see, I am missing two shadows :( I dropped it on the floor when I went to Paris and BAM eyeshadow all over the floor :( I need to buy a new one soon

Elf - Eyeline & shadow stick

This eyeline is worth gold on those lazy days when you don't want to fight with your eyeliner... It is so easy to put on and it stays there. I have gotten a lot of compliments with this baby on. It is actually me second eyeliner & shadow stick that I am using now, that is how much I like this one

Gosh - Kohl eyeliner

Gosh was the first makeup brand I got, and I am sticking with it :P

I have used this eyeliner since I started using makeup, and I have been trough several eyeliners since.

L'oreal Paris - Youth code  (Eye cream)

I really like this cream for some reason. It is not to heavy on the eyes and dries somewhat fast. I am not really an expert with eye creams, so if you know some good stuff please let me know

Estee Lauder - Beyond Paradise (perfume)

I got this as present from my boyfriend in the start of our relationship, so this perfume is very special to me. I love the fruity/flowery scent it gives. The perfume is strong so you don't need to use a lot. The packaging is so cute... It is rainbow colored with the cutest little colors in it. I find myself admiring it at times

Rimmel - Kate 03

I discovered this lipstick through youtube, so I decided to give it a try last month and I do not regret it all. I have been wearing this everyday since. This lipstick is the perfect nude you will find. One thing I love about this lipstick is, that it is not drying at all for your lips.

So that was my july favorits... now tell me what are yours?

It was my birthday...YAY

My birthday was the 29th of July and I turned 26 years young ;)

My day was great. The sun was shining, it was hot outside and I woke up feeling happy. Days like that are the best. Anyways I was home alone because my boyfriend had to work that day (buuh) so I was playing a bit on my nintendo (one of my birthday presents from my bf) and then about 1 pm, while I was doing the dishes the doorbell rang, and I was like WTF who is that. Then when I opened the door is see this flower guy with a huge bouquet of roses that was bigger than the guys head

Sooo pretty right?

17 long stemmed red roses, plus a cute card and chocolate. The roses was from my boyfriend who wrote in that card that he was thinking of me and that he couldn't wait until he got home - So romantic

It was REALLY good chocolate

Later on that day, my boyfriend returned back home and his parents and their cute dog Sam came by to wish my a happy birthday. That was actually so sweet that they came by, cause they live about a 2 hour drive away from my bf and I.

Then we finished the day with great food and Oz the great and powerful (also a one of my presents that I got)

HAPPY AUGUST 1ST

It is officially the last month of summer. It is scary how quick time flies. I hope you all are enjoying your life around in the big world.

This month I have made a promise to myself, that I need to blog more. So let's see if I can keep that,

1. What do you order at Starbucks?

Denmark is not really known for Starbucks. The ones we have are in the airport, and that is not really the place I am the most. However I did try my first hot chocolate from Starbucks when I went to Paris. Ohmygosh it was sooooo good

Next month a starbucks will open in my city and I can't wait.

2. What's one thing in your closet that you can't live without?

My black jeggins. I wear them as often as I can

3. What's one thing that most people don't know about you?

I don't know... I think I tell you guys everything. Oh I am super shy and super quiet, unless I know you well... Then you would pretty much beg me to shut up.

4. What's one thing you want to do before you die?

Get one of my stories published 

5. What's one food you can't live without?

CHOCOLATE... Everyone around me knows that it is my weakness

6. What's one quote that you live your life by?

never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game. 

It's from A cinderella Story. That movie is so cheasy but I love it so much and it brings back good memories.

7. What do you like and dislike about the Blogging community?

I love being inspired by other bloggers and getting new friends from all over the world.

What I dislike... I feel like this past year it's been too materialistic for a lot of people, and I am afraid that a lot of young girls think that they have to have a ton of money to buy all these fancy producs to be a "famous blogger". These posts not only lack substance but they also lack heart and soul. They only do it to be popular. Keep in mind that I am not saying everyone is like that

Movie review - Now you see me

Now You See Me pits an elite FBI squad in a game of cat and mouse against "The Four Horsemen," a super-team of the world's greatest illusionists. "The Four Horsemen" pull off a series of daring heists against corrupt business leaders during their performances, showering the stolen profits on their audiences while staying one step ahead of the law.

My opinion:

I asked my boyfriend to go see this movie with me, cause it was part of an event (Datenight) my local cinema had. 

The movie honestly took me by surprise... in a good way. I had seen the trailer and I had thought to myself hmm okay this looks cool, but it turned out really great. Maybe it's because I like magic, love and action that this movie spoke to me, cause it contains it all. 

Think of this movie like a modern Robin hood with magic tricks. Check out the trailer below and see what I am talking about

After finishing this movie I actually felt the need to go to a Las Vegas show lol... I know random comment sorry :P

Monday motivation: My monday workout

Hey Lovelies...

Why not start the week of by getting a great workout in and feeling super great about yourself.
I was out with the family yesterday, and we had so much fun walking around the city and on the habor, that we walked for miles (it sure feels like a lot of miles/km), so a monday leg workout was not really on my mind. Instead I focused on everything... I guess. I just felt like doing whatever I found fun today.

Wednesday workout #3

Wednesday workout - Blogilates Style

I haven't really been feeling like making my own workout playlist today, so instead I went with a blogilates playlist. Cassey Ho the woman behind Blogilates makes monthly workout calendars and I am always downloading them to get inspiration.. I usually mix it in with the tone it up girls calendar :) 

Anywho today I felt like working on my abs, and Cassey had just the perfect playlist. Look here. I picked the 1st of July, because it has a lot of abs exercise in that playlist.

I was browsing through some fashion blogs and I saw that Miranda Kerr is on the Korean Elle, and she look so amazing that I had to show you guys.
The cover is very appealing and simple, but yet you get the feel of summer. If I could read korean I would totally buy this.

I love the white boots in the second last picture, I wouldn't mind wearing those.

Whassup wednesday: A quick update

Hey guys.

Sorry I haven't been posting much lately, but a lot has happened (I feel like that is always the excuse). As you know I've moved to a new city and have been living here for almost a month. It has really been great getting new furniture, settling in and discover amazing stuff.
But this month has also been tough cause I started having a bad toothache when we moved here, so I went to the dentist, and he said I had to have a root canal treatment. Well it's been a month this week and he still hasn't closed my tooth and it hurts so bad, therfore I haven't been posting wednesday workouts like I normally do. Everytime I do something and the blood is pumping, it hurts like a b****
But I promise I will be back with workout posts as soon as I can. I really do try my best, but I am not going to post a workout routines unless I will be able to do it myself, I hope you guys understand.

On another note, I think I know what I want to be (when I grow up lol), and now I just have to steer my way through it.
I thought about an education in multimedia graphics. I love to draw and be creative, so why not take the chance right? The sad part is that it is too late to apply so I am looking for jobs at the moment, and that kinda sucks because not a lot of people are hiring.
I am thinking about selling some drawings of mine, making stickers etc. I started an Etsy shop, but I haven't put anything up yet, I want to make sure it's the right site for me to sell my stuff on.
