My opinion:

I asked my boyfriend to go see this movie with me, cause it was part of an event (Datenight) my local cinema had. 

The movie honestly took me by surprise... in a good way. I had seen the trailer and I had thought to myself hmm okay this looks cool, but it turned out really great. Maybe it's because I like magic, love and action that this movie spoke to me, cause it contains it all. 

Think of this movie like a modern Robin hood with magic tricks. Check out the trailer below and see what I am talking about

After finishing this movie I actually felt the need to go to a Las Vegas show lol... I know random comment sorry :P

Movie review : Life of Pi

My opinion:
I have to be honest... The only reason I wanted to see this movie, was because when I saw the trailer, Coldplays song Paradise was playing, and it totally set the mood for the movie. I HAD TO SEE THAT MOVIE.
The movie was great, and the story was awesome, but somehow I felt like I wanted something more. I cannot really put my finger on what.
The 3D effect did nothing for me what so ever. You can see this in 2D and save the money. Maybe it's because I saw the Hobbit that I want that extra 3D feeling?
The movie is thinker; What I mean by that is, when you leave the movie theater you can't stop thinking about it... in a good way
This movie is not only for young ones, but also adults.
I recommend this movie.

Movie review: Shark night 3D

My opinion:

OMG THIS IS SO BAD! This has to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The plot is stupid, the acting is bad, and the effects... oh lord.

I honestly don't have anything else to say about it

I don't recommend it

Movie monday - The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

My opinion:

I was so excited to see this movie and I sat in a queue for over an over to buy these tickets to see the movie. However I felt sad when I left the movies that I had spent so much time and money on this and it wasn't even worth it. 

I have read the hobbit and it did not live up to my expectations at all (almost no movie is better than the actual book - I know). When I first saw lord of the rings (all 3) I was so captivated by the magic of the film when you saw it, this time there was none. I felt like Peter Jackson focused too much on the 3D effect that he forgot to make the hobbit just as magical as the other movies. 

But on the plus side I do have to say that the 3D effect was PERFECT! Never have I have seen that good a 3D effect in a movie. It was like you were there.

My boyfriend has never read the book and I asked him what he felt about the movie, and he told me that he actually was very entertained, but like me the magic just wasn't there.

I do recommend this movie, just don't expect the wow feeling.

Movie Monday: Breaking Dawn part 2 (review)

My opinion

I definitely thought that this was the best of all the twilight movies...even the first.

But to be honest (and I know some people are going to get angry - sorry), I do not think any of the twilight movies including the new one is oscar worthy. It is simply not good enough.

Breaking down part 2 is a great romantic chick movie that you can enjoy by yourself, with your friends or even your boyfriend. I was pleasantly surprised about some of the fight scenes and on multiple times I felt like going Oh snap lol, so if you guys like the twilight saga don't hesitate... go watch it NOW

What I'm loving wednesday #2

I really like these what I'm loving posts... love reading them and writing them :)

Boyfriend: Thank you for being oh so kind to me. I love you with all my heart and more. Thank you for surprising me two days in a row. Last night (tuesday) he surprised me with dinner and a movie (Breaking dawn part 2 - Yes I will do a review), and on top of that he surprised me with taking the day off from work today so he could be home with me ❤.  Wednesday is my day off from school where I am "doing all my homework", and just dance around :P

Gym: You are a mysterious one... at first I really hate you, but after finishing a workout I love you. Today I kicked ass in the gym... I felt like I could have kept going, but my bf was waiting for me so I had to stop. Oh how we will see each other again tomorrow.

Hot cocoa: You make mornings so much better. I enjoy all the warmth you give to me on a rainy cold morning... And I bet you will make my life even more enjoyable when the snow starts to fall soon.

Iphone: Oh you sneaky one... I honestly don't love you for all the fancy things you do anymore cause I have the worst signal ever, so half of the stuff doesn't work. But I do love you for making me able to comunicate with my bf and others so I am never alone. I am not joking when I say my day is ruined if I don't have you with me

Christmas music: If it weren't for my boyfriend, I would so love you the most. You make me happy even when I am sad. You even understand how to make cleaning more fun for me.

Movie review: Wrong turn 5

My opinion:

Wrong turn 5 has to be the worst movie in the series, and that is saying it nicely. No just no. Bad acting,  bad set and a bad plot is what this movie is. However I will say that if you are buzzed this movie might be okay, otherwise don't waste your time on this.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE

Finishing a workout.
 I know it sounds stupid, but I have been on pills for almost 2 weeks and I have been so sick every time I tried to work out. Yesterday was my first day trying to workout without me being on pills, and I felt GREAT. I felt so much power and when the workout was over I sweating like a pig and smiling from ear to ear.

Movie of the week

I finally saw The Dark Knight Rises... Not a bad movie, but it was however a bit long. I thought the motorcycle batman and later on catwoman used was awesome :D

Tip to remember

Remember to smile as much as you can. Someone out there in the big world needs something to make his/her day better. It is amazing how powerful a smile is

I have read a couple of books by her, and she knows how to write the perfect chick lit books. I thank my cousin for introducing me to her back then. Cecelia Ahern is just so inspiring.

Movie review - Friends with kids

My opinion:

I was a bit sceptical about this movie, because I do feel there is a lot of baby movies out there (like it's the new it thing), and it is starting to get a bit too much. However this movie was not THAT bad, and if you like romantic comedy's and babies then this might be a hit :) Don't expect big things... It's far from an oscar winning movie.

I recommend this movie if you are in a chick flick, romantic or baby mood

Movie review - The never ending story

Bastian is a little boy who lives alone with his father. 

One day Bastian is on his way to school, and on his way he get stopped by some bullies (we don't like those), because they want his money. Bastian doesn't have any and ends up getting thrown in a dumpster. Bastian quickly hops out of the dumpster and the bullies sees him and starts chasing him. Bastian runs for his life and he ends up hiding in an old bookstore. The owner of the bookstore is a grumpy old man who starts talking to Bastian, and before the old man knows it Bastian is long gone with a book he "borrowed" from the man.

Bastian starts reading the book and that is when all the fun begins.

Trolls, weird creatures and flying dog dragons appear - pretty weird I know, but trust me it's all good.

The terrible nothing (cause they couldn't come up with a better name for it), is out to ruin Fantasia and its people who lives there, and on top of that the pretty empress is deadly sick because of it all.

Then the great warrior Atreju comes in the picture and he promise to save Fantasia and the empress, and if the great warrior fails, well then everything will be destroyed (no pressure at all huh?).

What I thought:

When I first saw this movie I was a little kid, so when I started this movie (a couple of days ago) I was kind of fearing it would suck, but it didn't.

I can understand why it is a classic and a must see for children (and adults). It has great messages in the movie about standing up to bullies (what goes around comes around), and believing in yourself, Just keep in mind that it's an old movie so it is not that high tech ;)

I recommend it.

Movie review - The help

My opinion: 

If you guys have yet to see this movie, go do it now! I think this movie is so good. I must admit I was a bit sceptic at the beginning, because everyone said it was oh so good, and I really hate getting my hopes up and then being disappointed. This movie leaves you thinking about the old times and how much the world has changed for the better.

Movie review - Christmas cupid

Oh my rain dear....

(I just want to say that yes its not even winter yet and yet I am watching a christmas movie.. I know I have a problem lol)

This movies is about this young woman, Sloane (played by the beautiful Christina Milian) who is a crazy workaholic that works in PR. When her client dies she visits Sloane as a GHOST and tells her that she must find true love and change her ways before time runs out. She is visited by 3 former boyfriends who gives her an inside to her past that she didn't know about/forgot about.

My opinion:

I am the BIGGEST sucker for holiday movies, but this movie just doesn't cut it for me. I am sad that I wont get that hour and a half back. The plot has been seen before and the acting was just meeeh, The highlight of the movie was when Chad Michael Murray shows up as a sexy doctor or nurse or something... I was drooling at that point so I din't notice lol.

To make a long story short: Dont waste your time on this!

On August 31, 1997, Diana, Princess of Wales died in an auto accident in Paris; despite the controversial breakup of her marriage to Prince Charles, she was still one of the most famous and best-loved women in the world, and the public outpouring of emotion over her passing was immediate and intense. However, given the messy circumstances of Diana's breakup with Charles, official spokespeople for the Royal Family were uncertain about how to publicly address her passing. It didn't take long for the media to pick up on the hesitation of Buckingham Palace to pay homage to Diana, and many saw this as a sign of the cool emotional distance so often attributed to the royals, which in this case was widely seen as an insult against Diana and the many people who loved her. Prime Minister Tony Blair (played by Michael Sheen) saw a potential public-relations disaster in the making, and took it upon himself to persuade Queen Elizabeth II (played by Helen Mirren) to make a statement in tribute to the fallen Diana -- an action that went against the taciturn queen's usual nature. The Queen was released the same year that Helen Mirren played Queen Elizabeth I in an acclaimed miniseries for British television; The Queen also gave Michael Sheen his second opportunity to play Tony Blair after portraying the prime minister in the television film The Deal.

What do I think?

I was so surprised by this movie, that I couldn't stop talking about it afterwards.

You would think that the Queen is a die hard bitch (pardon my french), but this movie actually shows that the Queen has a sensitive side, and I kind of felt sorry for her throughout the movie. The Queen is brought up in a very old school way and actually thinks she does what is best for the country by keeping this kind of ice queen facade on. Slowly she starts to realize she may have to chance the attitude.

I recommend this movie if you haven't already seen it

Review: Snow white and the huntsman

My Opinion:

I've been looking forward to this movie for almost a year cause it sounded different that what the Disney version is, however the joy of seeing this movie quickly disappeared as the movie progressed. 

The first thing I noticed is the way they filmed the movie, it was shakey and out of focus... I know the out of focus thing can be used as an effect, but it just didn't work.

The acting was... well not that good. I did not believe Kristen Steward in the role as snow white. Charlize Theron was okay but throughout the movie I kept thinking wow her throat must have been hurting from all that screaming haha :D. 

Chris Hemsworth actually did his performance really well, plus he is easy on the eyes so that doesen't hurt from a girls point of view.

Throughout the movie I had a hard time keeping my concentration, and just generally disappointed - maybe my hopes was too high.

Keep in mind that this is just my opinion, and that we are all different :)

I would not recommend spending the money on this movie unless it comes on sale when it comes out on dvd

Personal stuff: Why is my back spassing out? seriously dude, finally the weather has turned over and its so lovely outside and my lower back just snapped or something. I haven't been outside for 3 days now... I wanna gooooooooooo

Things I want: I really want that super mario keychain and those green leggings... have I lost my mind?

Avengers: A lot of people are talking about that movie... hmm wonder if I'll like it. Maybe I should ask my bf if we can see it

My Little tantrum: Why do traveling have to be so expensive? we just cancelled my dream vacation because it cost around 16.000 danish krones.. baah sad panda :(

Movie Review: Battleship

My thoughts:

When I first heard about this movie I honestly didn't know what to expect at all, but I can say that I came out from the movies pleasantly surprised.

It is a guy movie yes (my bf's turn to pick a movie lol), but I enjoyed it as well, we even talked about buying it on blueray when it comes out... Lots of action and aliens oh my.

The downside of this movie: Rihanna. She is a great singer and dancer and looks good but all I could think about was there is rihanna on the screen (not the person she was portraying). Im not saying she is a bad actress at all maybe its just me being used to seeing her sing about an umbrella ella ella and stuff.

Funny little story - when we arrive at the movies my bf is leading us into the movie room or what you guys call it and we can't understand why there is no one there.

Well after 5 - 10 minutes a lot of old people walks in the room and all I keept thinking was wow these people are freaking cool even though they are a bit old, and in the meantime my bf is freaking out cause he cant believe its true.. well then he checks our tickets again just to be sure and it turns out we are in the wrong room lol.. 

Well thank good we only missed like 5 minutes of the movie, when we finally found the room

❀Birthday sunday❀

Yesterday was my man's birthday.

We had an awesome day together... we got up around 8am to get breakfast ready and clean a bit of our mess up before his family came to visit around 10 am

So all in all it was a great day and I was super tired when we got home from the movies.

I asked my bf if the day was as he wanted and he said it was perfect, so that made my day

What's for dinner

It is friday the 13th... what do you do?

I actually started my morning arriving late for work cause I did not hear my alarm clock go off lol... anyways after a boring day At work and a kick ass gym session I was ready to eat. I love friday the 13th so I always want to do something cool (not horror cool), so I decided that I wanted to take my bf out to dinner... 

We went to a place where they had a running sushi buffet - sounds weird I know, but it was good trust me.

I was too scared to try this but it looked good... Maybe next time?

My bf dobbel dared me to eat to pieces of sushi at once.... I did it and they were HOT as hell

Chinese beer... It was actually really good

When we got home we watched the movie choose... it was okay good :)

Horrible bosses review

So as a lot of you may have read me and the bf went to see horrible bosses yesterday, and I must say I was positively surprised. 

I kinda had this feeling it was gonna suck, cause the last couple of movies I've watched with Jennifer Aniston hasn't been THAT good... but oh wow

Short and clear its basically is about three dudes that hates their bosses (picture above) and tries to kill them and then things get all screwed up. I laughed a lot during this movie and the bloopers at the end was like the cherrie on top.

My fave scene was this one below - cause that is basically me and I don't even use the funny stuff... I laughed so hard

If you haven't seen the movie I definitely recommend it

Brad Pitt is a pervert

Tonight my boyfriend and I had a date night. 

Homemade dinner and a trip to the movies to see Horrible bosses. 

You may think well why are you on the computer now then? well to answer that question... its because the bf decided he wanted to play on the computer after we got home. He's not a tech freak for nothing I guess haha

Anyways the food was amazing (read blog post here) and the movie was really good. I might do a review on that later

When we left there was the prettiest sunset ever, the picture does not do it justice at all

Then we got our tickets to see the movie

Then I had to pee, and jeez Brad Pitt is a pervert.. he is watching me pee... I can honestly say I had performance anxiety HAHA

But honestly its cool toilets.. there were doors with Will Smith and Bruce Willies and some other dudes I can't remember.

I tried to take a picture inside the movie theater but my iphone camera wouldn't focus and it looked like some drunk person took the picture.

before we got home we made a small stop at our local 7 eleven
