Friday favorites

I have seen these on a couple of blogs and I have decided that I want to give this friday favorites a little try :D

Trash tv: My bf and I recently got tv (its way too expensive in denmark so we decided we wanted to take a break from that 6 months ago) and holy cow there is a lot of trash tv out there. I recently started watching the Kardashians and I think I might be addicted. I found out that E (the tv network) is a really good channel to watch every sunday lol

Healthy pancakes: I found the recipe for quick, easy and healthy pancakes. All you need is two ingredients... I love everything that is quick in the morning so I can sleep those extra 5 minutes

Drink: I've said it before and I'll say it again... I am addicted to monster. After a long day in school monster is what I need.

Dreams: My favorite dream at the moment would be to become a fulltime blogger, I actually like all this writing and finding tips and so on. My favorite part has to be talking to you guys (on your blog and mine) it makes me feel less alone. Some of you may know that I moved to a city were I don't really know anyone

My favorite thing of the week: That has to be that I have talked to a lot of people that I normally wouldn't, and you really shouldn't judge a person by his or her look. I've had a lot of interesting conversations from purple aliens to family tragedy.

I hope you guys had an interesting week and your weekend is going to be amazing

Girl crush - Emma Stone

I have seen Emma in a couple of movies and thinks she is a talented and amazing actress with a very bright future ahead, that is why I think she deserves a little spot on my blog.
I like that she is not that serious. She kind of reminds me of an early Lindsay Lohan, but much better
Her first movie was Superbad and since then its been hit on hit for Emma Stone

Some of her movies are

  • Superbad
  • The house bunny
  • Easy A
  • The Help
  • Friends with benefits
  • Crazy stupid love
  • The amazing spiderman

What do you guys think of Emma stone?

Orchid care tips

For a few years now I have been that typical girl that would buy orchids and when its not in bloom I'd throw it out agin. I've tried waiting for the beautiful flower to bloom again, but to be honest I didn't know how to care for it and I didn't have the patient.
That my lovelings has changed... About two months ago I got a beautiful blue orchid from my boyfriend and last night the thought came to mind, what should I do when its not in bloom (resting period).
First of I know that the flower is a diva flower and is very delicate, second I know there is no such thing as original blue orchids - basically we are paying extra money for the same orchid (that costs less) but just with some blue color sprayed in.

So here are some tips for when the diva flower is in bloom and when its resting:

  • Water the plant once a week (best with rainwater or with boiled water that is cold again
  • Put the orchid in a light place, but not in direct sunlight
  • When the flower is in bloom give it some special orchid fertilization
  • When the orchid is in its resting state (no flowers on it)it needs to rest! Move it to a colder area and water it every 3-4 weeks and cut the faded stilk off
  • As soon as it starts blooming again the resting period is done

The tips are from a danish magazine called Mood

Do you guys like these tips, and do you have some orchid tips I forgot to put in there?

The British prime minister and the Royal Family find themselves quietly at odds in the wake of a national tragedy in this drama from director Stephen Frears. On August 31, 1997, Diana, Princess of Wales died in an auto accident in Paris; despite the controversial breakup of her marriage to Prince Charles, she was still one of the most famous and best-loved women in the world, and the public outpouring of emotion over her passing was immediate and intense. However, given the messy circumstances of Diana's breakup with Charles, official spokespeople for the Royal Family were uncertain about how to publicly address her passing. It didn't take long for the media to pick up on the hesitation of Buckingham Palace to pay homage to Diana, and many saw this as a sign of the cool emotional distance so often attributed to the royals, which in this case was widely seen as an insult against Diana and the many people who loved her. Prime Minister Tony Blair (played by Michael Sheen) saw a potential public-relations disaster in the making, and took it upon himself to persuade Queen Elizabeth II (played by Helen Mirren) to make a statement in tribute to the fallen Diana -- an action that went against the taciturn queen's usual nature. The Queen was released the same year that Helen Mirren played Queen Elizabeth I in an acclaimed miniseries for British television; The Queen also gave Michael Sheen his second opportunity to play Tony Blair after portraying the prime minister in the television film The Deal.

What do I think?
I was so surprised by this movie, that I couldn't stop talking about it afterwards.
You would think that the Queen is a die hard bitch (pardon my french), but this movie actually shows that the Queen has a sensitive side, and I kind of felt sorry for her throughout the movie. The Queen is brought up in a very old school way and actually thinks she does what is best for the country by keeping this kind of ice queen facade on. Slowly she starts to realize she may have to chance the attitude.

I recommend this movie if you haven't already seen it

Music4free is an anual event that takes place in the heart of Esbjerg filled with music, friends and drinks.
This year (yesterday) I went with my bf, his sister and her friend. The weather was actually better than expected so the turn out for this "little" happening was MASSIVE... never have I seen so many people together at one place in Esbjerg, it was crazy.

I know the pictures doesn't show that many people but trust me even the small streets around was filled with people sitting, drinking and having a great time

I hope you guys are having an amazing weekend

Okay I kind of got the Spice girls fever after I saw them perform last night at the olympics. It was almost as if I was 13 again trying to sing and dance like them.
Victoria has never really been my favorite but after the spice break up, her going into fashion and being an independant woman she really grew on me. I actually do think Victoria is a great rolemodel... She just needs to eat a Milka chocolate once in a while.

Did you guys watch the spice girls perform at the olympics? and if you did what are your thoughts?
