It was my birthday...YAY

My birthday was the 29th of July and I turned 26 years young ;)

My day was great. The sun was shining, it was hot outside and I woke up feeling happy. Days like that are the best. Anyways I was home alone because my boyfriend had to work that day (buuh) so I was playing a bit on my nintendo (one of my birthday presents from my bf) and then about 1 pm, while I was doing the dishes the doorbell rang, and I was like WTF who is that. Then when I opened the door is see this flower guy with a huge bouquet of roses that was bigger than the guys head

Sooo pretty right?

17 long stemmed red roses, plus a cute card and chocolate. The roses was from my boyfriend who wrote in that card that he was thinking of me and that he couldn't wait until he got home - So romantic

It was REALLY good chocolate

Later on that day, my boyfriend returned back home and his parents and their cute dog Sam came by to wish my a happy birthday. That was actually so sweet that they came by, cause they live about a 2 hour drive away from my bf and I.

Then we finished the day with great food and Oz the great and powerful (also a one of my presents that I got)

❀DIY DECOUPAGE FLOWER PANTING❀

So this is kind of an easy how to easy flower deco painting.

I was inspired to make this painting from spending way to many hours on pintrest and all of the sudden I found a painting and I was like I can do that :D

Btw sorry about the picture quality - I was doing this in the evenings cause that was the only break I had to this.

So here is an easy guide

you are gonna need these things:

Paint (whatever color you desire)

Paint brushes 

Decoupage papers

A canvas

Decoupage glue/mod podge

I started painting my canvas black. I gave it a couple of layers so everything was nicely covered and I let it dry the night over.

I cut out the flower leafs in 4 different sizes - I just went with it and adjusted the sizes so they were what I wanted. I also cut the circle of the flower out. I wanted the circle to stand out so I found some glitter paper and used that.

Day after:

I glued the leafs on with the deco glue and when I was satisfied with the patteren I gave the whole canvas a good round of deco glue (yes you paint over everything even the leafs - I gave it two coats)

Let it completely dry and voila. 

(btw no it does not hang there lol, it hangs in the hallway)

In bloom

Okay so this is just gonna be a small short girly girl blog about a flower, yup and its even a real one.

I got the flower a year and a half a go from my mother in law, and its pretty much been dead ever since I tried taking care of it.

Then a month or so ago it started blooming again, and this week the first flowers came.

Its kinda weird its starting to bloom cause lately I've been kinda bad at watering it lol... maybe thats a good thing

I know its stupid, but its small unexpected things like this that makes me happy =D

So here it was, short, girly blog. I hope it didn't suck too much lol
